End-User Testing

In order to fully understand the most effective means of targeting our audiences with our media and advertising campaigns we conducted an end-user survey to gain insights. 

The main insights are as follows:

  • Audiences mainly had an interest in arts (painting, music, film and literature) and events (festivals and local markets). 

  • An ideal duration for a podcast would be either between 45 minutes to 1 hour or under 25 minutes. 

  • The primary reason for listening to podcasts is entertainment. 

  • Audiences would prefer a podcast to be a mixture of informational and conversational. 

  • All users would attend an event if it meant having no internet access. 

  • A majority of users found the winter time frame of the event appealing, desiring more events to be held in winter. 

  • 70% had a positive reaction to knowing funds went to charity, while the remaining 30% had not feelings either way.
